Illustrated Book Project -3

3rd Progress

Decided on the story! But still finding interesting little details to improve the plot.

(Story Point form)

- The story starts off with a young boy who doesn't really bother on whatever people like to talk about in school, because he couldn't understand why people love to talk about every single little thing that happened to them!

- But he was an imaginative one, so there were always a lot of weird things going on in the boy's mind. So life in school was like the usual for him. And eventually, class was over. He immediately ran home.

- Upon reaching home, the boy was hungry and went to seek his mother. His mother was the average housewife, added with the love of chit-chatting on the phone all day. While busy chatting on the phone, the boy was asked to go to the kitchen and get himself something to eat.

- The boy was a little angry with him mom's attitude, but still went to the kitchen and got himself a bread. After that, he ran upstairs to his room and begin to act like his mom in front of the mirror.

- Later on, dad was back. Dad was fun to be around with, the boy thought. But maybe that day was a busy day for dad, so after dinner, dad would just sit in front of the television and enjoy some movies while resting.

- Boy decided to go back to his room after dinner and play with his old toys, although he was bored of it already. Suddenly he heard a voice, coming from somewhere. He turned around and saw the mirror was actually talking, or rather something inside the mirror is inviting him to come over to play.

- The boy hesitated, but he wanted to have some fun. So he decided to bring along his old toys and enter the mirror world. As bizarre as it sounds, the other side of the mirror was actually the same as his room, just like a reflection of the exact same thing but something was different... everything there were alive.

- The boy enjoyed playing there along with all living things that were around him. Even the voice from the mirror appear before him, turned out to be a silhouette of himself, and of course played with the boy too. Things were fun when out of the sudden, he heard his mother's voice through the mirror, asking for the boy's whereabouts.

- The boy decided to go back to the real world but things started to go all weird. The silhouette expression was getting more intimidating. The other creatures were starting to stop the boy from going back.

- The silhouette slowly grew larger in size and became a weird looking monster. The boy knew he had to escape from this world. But how?

- Old toys to the rescue! The boy was shocked that the toys were alive but was glad at the same time. The boy managed to break free from the creature's cage.

- They tried to ran towards the mirror. It was tough, but they made through it somehow. But this time, there was a long tunnel to get into the other side. The boy and his old toys had to hurry before those creatures catch up on them.

- They were almost there, when suddenly something grab and hold onto the boy's leg. He turned back and saw the silhouette monster. He decided to fought back and never to return to the mirror world.

- Boy managed to return to his room, but his toys were no longer alive. At the right moment, his mom was knocking on the door. The boy was glad to see her.

- Mom found him weird for acting so worried all of the sudden, and decided to ask him to sleep over. The boy was happy to! and The end.
